What is included in the Mobiloo hire service?

The Mobiloo service is facilitated by one of our crew who will:

● Bring the unit to your event, set it up and take it away again afterwards
● Supervise its use to ensure safe operation
● Keep it squeaky clean throughout your event
● Be on hand to answer any questions about the Mobiloo service, the organisation
behind this ground-breaking project and more

What services are required for the operation of the Mobiloo Unit?

● Power hookup required within 25m of Mobiloo: 16A connection preferred- 13A is acceptable as
we have adaptors
● Grey waste: collected in portable roller tank, to be emptied by our driver/facilitator
into nearby grey waste tank
● Water supply required: preferably via connection to the site’s main water supply, or a tap/
standpipe within 25m of the Mobiloo
● Waste tanks: our onboard toilet uses a cassette (as found in most motorhomes), the
driver/facilitator will empty this as required into nearby black waste tank, or nearby loo or portaloo

What site is appropriate for the placement of the Mobiloo vehicle?

● A flat, level surface required, minimum dimensions of plot 10m x 6m
● For longer events with overnight camping we recommend siting the unit in the
accessible camp area with 24 hour access. For larger events it may also be worth
having a second Mobiloo in the arena area for ease of access during the day

Can I purchase a Mobiloo unit?

Yes, we offer the option to purchase Mobiloo units. Contact us for pricing and availability details.

Do you offer staffed and unstaffed options?

Yes, we can either provide full support, including a member of staff to assist throughout the event or we can off a Mobiloo that is unstaffed with the appropriate training to facilitate the use of the unit for your requirements. Please contact us to discuss further.

Mobiloo Service Terms & Conditions

1. Client Responsibilities and Site Requirements:

– The client agrees to provide a 10-metre by 6-metre flat space that is easily accessible for
the Mobiloo vehicle.
– A nearby 3kw electricity supply via a 16 amp connection (can be up to 25 metres away
maximum). We can provide an adaptor to a 13 amp connection if required, please advise in
advance.
– A nearby water supply (can be up to 25 metres away); this can either be via mains
connection, or a stand pipe or from a nearby tap which can fill a 40L aqua roller (max 25m
away from Mobiloo).
– The client must ensure that there are nearby toilets accessible for Mobiloo to empty the
toilet cassettes when required. Please designate a toilet for this purpose and if this is being
provided by a different service supplier make them aware this is a requirement from us.
– The client is responsible for ensuring that the designated area is free from obstacles or
hazards that may impede the setup or operation of the Mobiloo, and ensuring the area is
safe to protect the Mobiloo vehicle and equipment.

N.B Please note that should water, electricity or black/ toilet waste not be provided as
requested in our T&Cs then we will not be able to provide our services when we arrive
onsite. Please can you make sure that adequate provisions are in place for us when
the crew arrive otherwise we will be unable to continue with your booking, with no
refund due. This is absolutely not the desired outcome but we are unable to function
as we are supposed to without these basic provisions of utilities.

Price and Payment Terms:

– Mobiloo reserves the right to adjust pricing; however, the client will be charged the price
quoted at the time of booking, which remains fixed once payment is received.
– An invoice is due for payment one month before the event date. Failure to make payment
by the due date may result in cancellation of services.
– Payment can be made via BACS transfer, with the unique UID from the invoice or invoice
number used as the payment reference.
– If other payment terms are required, please advise us in advance.

Force Majeure:

– In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, injury, sickness)
preventing Mobiloo from delivering services, liability shall be limited to a refund of the
amount paid for the affected booking.
– Mobiloo reserves the right to reschedule services in the event of force majeure, subject to
availability.

Cancellation Policy:

– We understand that sometimes plans change. In the event that you need to cancel your
booking, the following cancellation terms will apply based on the proximity to the scheduled
event date:


Cancellation Period Amount Due
More than 4 weeks before the event No money due / Full refund given
Between 2-4 weeks before the event 50% of the total fee
Less than 2 weeks before the event 100% of the total fee


– Cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to info@mobiloo.org.uk prior to
the event date. The date the cancellation email is received will be considered the official
cancellation date.

Photography and Social Media:

– Mobiloo may use footage, photos, and videos from the event for promotional purposes on
social media unless otherwise requested by the client.
– Clients may share professional event photos with Mobiloo for promotional use, subject to
prior agreement.
– Mobiloo will not disclose the location of private events or properties in promotional
materials without explicit consent from the client.

Travel and Public Liability Insurance:

– Travel costs to and from the event location are included in the quote.
– Mobiloo carries public liability insurance up to £5,000,000, with a certificate available
upon request.

Equipment Maintenance and Cleanliness:

Mobiloo will ensure that all equipment provided is maintained in good working condition
and is clean and hygienic upon setup before the operational hours commence.
– The client is responsible for notifying Mobiloo immediately of any issues or concerns
regarding the Mobiloo during the event.

Liability Limitations:

– Mobiloo is not liable for damages or losses resulting from the client’s failure to meet the
specified onsite requirements or responsibilities.
– Mobiloo is not liable for damages or injuries caused by improper use of the Mobiloo or
failure to follow instructions provided by Mobiloo staff.
– Mobiloo is not liable for damages caused by factors outside its control (e.g., hazardous
event conditions).

Indemnification:

– The client agrees to indemnify and hold Mobiloo harmless against any claims, damages,
or liabilities arising from the client’s use of Mobiloo’s services.

Insurance Coverage:

– The client acknowledges that Mobiloo’s public liability insurance covers operational
aspects related to the mobile toilet service. The client is responsible for obtaining any
additional insurance coverage necessary for their event.

Damage and Loss:

– The client is responsible for taking reasonable care of the Mobiloo and associated
equipment while it is in their use.
– Mobiloo maintains comprehensive insurance coverage for its vehicles and associated
equipment during operations, including at events.
– The client will not be held liable for any accidental damage or loss to Mobiloo
vehicles or equipment covered under this insurance.
– However, the client may be held liable for:
• Damage or loss caused by their intentional actions, negligence, or the actions
of their guests or event participants.
• Any damage resulting from the client’s failure to provide a safe and
hazard-free environment as outlined in Clause 1 (Client Responsibilities and Site
Requirements).
– Mobiloo will notify the client of any damages, and liability will only apply where it is
determined that the damage falls outside reasonable wear and tear or insurance
coverage. In such cases, repair or replacement costs will be invoiced to the client.

Health and Safety:

– The client agrees to ensure the safety and well-being of Mobiloo staff during the setup,
operation, and dismantling of the mobile toilet. Any safety hazards or concerns must be
promptly addressed by the client.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

– The client agrees to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits related to
the use of the mobile toilet at their event, including but not limited to accessibility
requirements and waste disposal regulations.

Dispute Resolution:

– In the event of a dispute arising from this agreement, both parties agree to first attempt to
resolve the matter through mediation or negotiation in good faith.

Governing Law:

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of
England & Wales.

Entire Agreement:

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes
any prior agreements or understandings, written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.

Amendments and Modifications:

– Any amendments or modifications to this agreement must be in writing and signed by
both parties to be valid and enforceable.
